Messi in contract talks with PSG
The French club is confident that the contract they have offered won’t be matched by Barcelona
Paris Saint-Germain will try to convince Lionel Messi to leave Barcelona this summer with an huge salary.
The owners of the Paris club will do everything they can to persuade the Argentinian star to leave Camp Nou at the end of his contract which ends on the 30th of June, although if that means they will remunerate the nr.10 with a huge amount.
According to TNT Sports Brazil, PSG has offered a two-year contract and they are highly confident that the amount will not be matched by the current club, Barcelona.
PSG might be a very tempting move for Messi as they have evolved a lot in the last years, reaching the final last season and the semi-final the current season while Barcelona has not played a final since the 2014-2015 win against Juventus Torino.
The interest in Lionel Messi is not too high for the obvious reasons, there are not too many clubs that could afford his demands and the stature that will need to have to be able to dream signing him.
Manchester City and PSG are among the favorites to sign the Argentinian superstar if he will decide to leave Camp Nou after such a long and amazing career wearing the ‘Blaugrana shirt.
The new president of Barcelona, Joan Laporta is desperate to extend the contract of their captain but there is still a lot of uncertainty regarding the six times Ballon d’Or winner and one of the best players if not the best player that has ever played the game ever.
