Bernardo Silva says no to Spurs
Bernardo Silva has refused a move to Tottenham as part of any Harry Kane deal according to several reports.
Instead, the Portuguese star has stated that he wants to go to Spain, with Atletico Madrid reportedly interested. Silva, 27, has been informed that if a sufficient bid is made, he will be allowed to leave Man City this summer.
His agent, Jorge Mendes, is said to have been in Manchester this week to ‘find a solution.’
According to the Athletic, Bernardo Silva has made it plain that he has no desire to play for Spurs.
Silva was allegedly part of City’s original bid for £160 million-rated Kane earlier this summer, which Daniel Levy turned down.
Pep Guardiola has revealed that Silva is one of three players seeking to leave the Etihad Stadium this summer.
After buying Jack Grealish for £100 million from Aston Villa, the club is ready to sell some players in order to balance the wages book.
